Who is Method?
● Method sells “naturally-derived, biodegradable, non-toxic
household cleaners, laundry supplies, personal care + soap.”
● Headquartered in San Francisco, but has plants and other
locations in cities like Chicago and London, UK.
● Created by college roommates in early 2000s
○ Adam Lowry and Eric Ryan
Method’s Creative/Brand Strategy
● @methodhome is the username across social media platforms.
● Consistent color scheme and font/symbol choice.
○ Lowercase letters
○ Replace all use of “and” with a “+” sign
● New content is shared frequently on all social media platforms.
Identifying Obstacles for Growth
● Struggle to gain consistent engagement across all social
platforms.
● Method’s Twitter engagement is low considering typical traffic on
platform.
○ Facebook is Method’s most followed/engaged platform.
● Customers are presumably early 30s to middle age.
○ 36 percent of the people on Twitter are between ages of 18 and 29.
○ Facebook has a high range of use between the ages of 18 and 65+.

○ Send influencers products to try and feature in videos or blog posts.
■ Give unique discount codes to influencers, track brand awareness and sales.
