Dear Savanna Brown,
On behalf of the entire staff of Disability Services and the many students served through this office, I
want to thank you for your service as a volunteer note taker during the University of Massachusetts Fall
2015 semester. Your notes for HT-MGT 100 were of great help to students with disabilities in your
class.
As you may know, we have nearly 2,000 students registered with the office, each with a unique need for
services. Note taking services are provided for students who need a supplemental set of notes in order to
ensure their success in class. Notes are needed by students with vision and hearing impairments,
learning disabilities, medical or psychological conditions that may prevent them from attending all
classes. Even though the recipients of your notes were anonymous to you, please know that your
services were helpful and appreciated.
I am happy to verify your participation in our program and the earning of 45 hours of volunteer service
to Disability Services.
