- A 12-week program working with elementary aged kids (8-12) teaching them exercise and
nutritional habits
- Managed 50+ children between 3 coaches and the exercise program that was appropriate for each
age group
- Groups would be divided by grade and a coach would be designated to that group
- 60 minutes of instruction 4 days per week (both physical and nutritional knowledge)
- Assessed development of skills and nutritional knowledge each week
- Each week a new lesson and skill set were taught
- Increased positive association with exercise and nutrition by playing games that intertwined with
the lesson
- Assessment of development was tracked by booklets and short and long term goals
- Games were geared toward inclusion
- By the end of the program every child had learned one new thing and could correctly do an
exercise she/he had never done before
