● Worked with a non-profit organization, La Esperanza, which addresses the disparities in
health care, health outcomes, and quality of life for Latinas with cancer and other health
problems in the Pioneer Valley of Western Massachusetts.

Study Abroad in Germany
FALL 2015
I studied abroad in Mannheim, Germany, where I learned about Germany’s culture and
history along with the cultures and histories of other European countries. I took classes at the
university in Mannheim and interacted with other students from all over the world. I traveled to
many historical and culturally significant places within Germany, Spain, France, England, The
Netherlands, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Scandinavia and more. I expanded my language
skills as well as my cultural understanding and exposure, which will aid in my future work within
communications, politics, social justice, and international relations.
