IBM Rational DOORS is used as a Project Specification Management tool at Hospira.
A generic tool has been designed such a way that user could generate and manage reports on
their own. Report describes the DOORs DXL traceability scripts that were generate out of tool to
aid in the generation of the report for all relevant DOORs modules.
Tool is built in such a way to support all team across the organization to generate desired report.
User feed in the desired input and select various options provided and generate report. Tool also
save the user input detail as an xml file which could be later used to generate same report or can
be modified to generate new report via tool itself. Script understands the project structure and
derives history data from all the modules.
Reports are classified on created, modified, deleted object of each module, attribute modification
count, weekly report, monthly report, yearly report. Use different color code for different
notification in reports
Tool helps to generate reports across the Doors database hierarchy.
Html report to give report on the changes made on module, which help different team synchronize
work pattern and avoid gap in work model.
Email to specified recipients with Html report on weekly basis.
