untranslated regions of target messenger RNAs for translational
repression or degradation.

INTRODUCTION
miR-1224-5p is famous for its role in several human
cancers, as well as being involved in the regulation of
the inflammatory response and the generation of ROS.

5. MATERIALES Y MÉTODOS
WESTERN BLOT ELISA
Determinación de las
concentraciones de proteína total.
Proteínas de 20 microgramos se
separaron mediante SDS-PAGE y se
transfirieron a las membranas de
PVDF.
Membranas se incubaron con
anticuerpos secundarios
conjugados con peroxidasa de
rábano picante durante 1 hora.
Detectar las citocinas
inflamatorias en BALF o
homogeneizados de pulmón.
Evaluar las actividades de NF- κ B in
vivo e in vitro, se prepararon
extractos nucleares y se
sometieron a incubación.

6. MATERIALES Y MÉTODOS
PCR LUCIFERASA
El ARN sepreparó
utilizando el
reactivo TRIzol.
Se transcribió de
forma inversa a
ADNc.
El PPAR- γ 3 - UTR se clonó y
se insertó en el plásmido
pGL3.
Se transfectó a las células
HEK293T con o sin el
tratamiento miR-1224-5p
agomir.

small as RNA that have an

MicroRNA-1224-5p plays a
fundamental role in the regulation
of the inflammatory response and
the production of reactive oxygen
species (ROS), which is why a
focus on this data can
considerably improve the damage
caused by this disease.
