4. John (messy)
John is a 20 year old college student who lives in Ann
Arbor and attends University of Michigan. He’s a busy
guy, involved in school and several different
extracurriculars. He enjoys having friends over, and
spends his spare time watching TV. His roommates
see him as messy, lazy, and rather passive.
John grew up in a generation surrounded by
technology and social media. The majority of his day is
spent staring at a screen. A lot of times he won’t even
remember to go to events if his phone doesn’t remind
him.
He grew up in a home never having to do chores. His
parents took care of housework and cleaning up after
him.
5. Alex (clean)
Alex is a 21 year old at University of Michigan. He’s a
bit of a neat freak and kind of a stickler. He’s involved
around school, but also spends a good amount of time
around the house cooking and studying.
Alex and John get along for the most part – they’re
very similar. Except in one way: Alex is on top of
everything and keeps his life very organized. He holds
his housemates to the same standard for shared
spaces.
6. 💭 “I will get around to the
chores eventually”
😒 John would pull his
weight if others gave him
some time and space.
👀 Other people do my
chores for me even though
I didn’t ask.
Within a week John is
back to the same bad
habits.
