The New Ideas and Innovation program (NIIP) is
supported by Department of Science &
Technology, Govt, of India.
This Pilot Initiative is being run by New Ideas &
Innovation Trust (NIIT), to run in schools in an
around Delhi NCR, before Pan India roll out. This
concept has support of organizations like - ZMQ
Software, Weizmann Forex Ltd, Moneywise
Securities Ltd.
The basic Idea Is to find talented young bright students, who
want to excel in science & technology by way of providing
some new innovative concept or idea which can further helps
us in creation of new & cheaper technology, ultimately
helping in doing good for the society as well as country. So,
the whole concept is to locate such talent, reward them &
make them responsible citizens of the country. New ideas &
innovations is one simple concept which draws It's
Inspiration from youths of India, where in the concept is to "
catch them young ", as can innovate and provide one small
BIG Idea, which helps us, our society and our country. The
concept is to eventually develop the Bright ideas further,
getting this idea patented in the name
of the kid with TIFAC (Technology

The marking methodology is as follows.

(2.) New Idea/ Innovation/ Futuristic 5 Mark
(3.) Scientific Base 5 Mark
(4.) Helps Humans in evolving in Some way 5 Mark
(5.) Process documentation / Support
Documents 5 Mark
So, Total of 25 Marks to be scored, judges to mark as
per point system. Additional sheets can be attached
as process document / support document.
Participation certificate to each participating Student
along with Scroll of honor Award for Top student in
each category, in the school. The PROGRAM theme
should ONLY be based Upon New ideas and
innovations. Winner video detailing his creation will
be posted on The NIIT website.
