1. Improving my movie
magazine
After I got feedback I went
back and improved my magazine
2. I decided to delete the star with the text ‘WIN
FREE CINEMA TICKETS PAGE 27’ but I didn’t
think it was professional enough and decided to
right win it on at the side of the main image.
3. Sell lines
On the feedback it
explained that I had
to include more sell
lines and make the
magazine cover less
about my film and
more different things
on it. So I included
information about a
poster, winning
tickets inside and a
competition.
But I kept the main
topic with the main
image and anchorage
text about my movie
to show that it still is
the most important
thing in the magazine.
4. I made sell lines which included One
Direction and Twilight because I
hope that this would appeal to
audiences like 15 to 16 into buy the
magazine.
As the movie is only rated 12A they
might not have thought that it
would be scary enough and wouldn’t
watch it but by buying the magazine
to get the One Direction exclusive
and twilight poster it would also
make the read about the film
Mystery because they would want
to waste their money so they would
read the whole of the magazine.
5. I changed the ‘See exclusive pictures from behind the scenes of the latest
horror film’ to red from white because it made it stand out but mainly because
on a magazine there is usually two to three colours. So I kept it the same as the
anchorage text to make it show that the interview with Gemma Habgood and the
exclusive pictures are about the same thing.
