1. The above costing does not include any email consumables or applicable taxes. The slab mentioned
above is the total fixed annual costs apart from that overage will also be added as per the number of
data points captured (for more details please check the demo Service Order attached herewith).
Details of MoEngage’s Unlimited Event FUP Model
Enterprise Plan
For 3,00,000 MTUs unlimited events will be captured for the first 12 months and the cost will be:
INR 2,72,000 per month
INR 3,264,000 per year
Note:
For every 50K MTUs thereafter- INR 34,000 per month
For Up to 10 Million Cards per month- Included in Base Plan
For every 1 Million Cards thereafter- INR 850 per month
1 Million emails per month are included in the base price.
No FUP on events for the first 12 months. Post 12 months, the assessment of events consumption will
happen and the price will be revised.

we understand the issue that is faced by you and hence, have taken a special provision to help you in
the initial days

What is the threshold of events you have decided in the Unlimited plan and if you observe that the limit
is being consumed then how will the overage be calculated post-observation period (6 months) of the
Unlimited plan?
The threshold that we shall consider post 6 months for this price is a FUP of 500 events per MAU per
month. If the event usage is between 100 events and 500 events we shall consider this pricing for the
rest of the year. If the usage is more than 500 events per month per MAU we would need to mutually
agree on higher pricing. If the events are within 100 events per month per MAU we can revert to the
Growth Plan price we had initially discussed.
What happens to leftover events/data points in the case of quarterly, half-yearly, and annual
subscriptions?
There is no carry forward for events.
How do you define events to calculate overage?
Cost calculation is done on the basis of Billable MTUs and FUP. Billable MTUs is the maximum of
Actual MTUs or
Total Custom Events/FUP

they do multiple events in a given month. Events generated by MoEngage (Campaign interactions such
as notification received, email sent, uninstall events, and user attribute updates) do not count towards

As mentioned we have a standard data retention policy, where User Attributes are stored for a lifetime,
Event data is stored for 2 months and Analytics is stored for 12 months. We can also change this to 3
months retention, 6 months retention, 12 months or 24 months retention for event and Analytics data.
We can provide 3 months retention at the same cost as standard retention. For 6 months, 12 months
and 24 months retention there will be 6%, 10% and 15% hike in the platform pricing.
How events will be captured for communication notification (Email, SMS, OBD, Telegram & WhatsApp)
sent through MoEngage?
MoEngage, by default, generates some of the events and attributes. These are called derived events and
derived attributes. Campaign Events and attributes are one of those.
E.g., Email sent, opened, clicked, viewed, etc., along with attributes like campaign (ID, name, type, event
time, SDK, App version, User email, etc.). The same goes with SMS and other channels like Push, In-apps,
and Whatsapp. We can analyze the same metrics for OBD and other media where we use connectors to
track the events and attributes that the 3rd party vendor shares with us.
How will you calculate the communication notification events for Email, SMS, OBD, WhatsApp and
Telegram messages sent to experts and what is the cost involved in it?
Email does not have separate pricing if you are using your own vendor.
If you are using connectors for SMS or WhatsApp or Telegram-Pricing would be as follows:
For every 10 Million Connector Calls/month- INR 68,000/month
How the events/data points will be calculated in case we integrate Zoho Desk?
Events that shall flow into MoEngage from Zoho Desk through an API will be considered a single event.
Is your Web-inbox feature live, will you be able to provide that service to Chegg?
Web Inbox is slated to be released by August End. Even if we take a buffer, we expect it to be live and
running by Mid September, by the time your account goes live.

1. Choose between Event Triggers, Periodic, & One time WhatsApp campaigns
2. Select the target audience, choose the trigger criteria for the notifications,
3. Set control Groups, Schedule the message, and define multiple conversion goals
4. Set delivery controls specific to a campaign.
5. Analytics - Check for campaign performance - delivery, conversions, error breakdown, read, clicked, etc.
6. Localization + A/B testing (Phase 2)
