PROJECTS DONE:
 MAJOR PROJECT:Design, analysis and fabrication of injection molding die for bench
cap.
 PROJECT DESCRIPTION: CREO parametric software is used to design injection molding
die for bench cap. Firstly, using the software to design the structure of die and product.
Secondly, designed the mold according to characteristics of the product and
generated a tool drawing and then finally the basic structure is transformed into 3D form and
various tools will be used to get the final required design. And then adopting the design into
ANSYS software where stress analysis is done and various loads are applied on center phase
of product where we get various deformations on developed design (i.e., product) and on
basis of these design characteristics,manufacture of die is carried out. Dimensions of die and
product are designed on basis of our college bench .Various machining operation are carried
out for manufacturing of die and product.
 MINIPROJECT:Model analysis on a piston to find natural frequency and amplitude
(ANSYS Software)
 PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project deals with piston behavior, which was modeled
and analyzed in ANSYS work bench. By using ANSYS work bench different types of
analysis can be done and on this piston, modal analysis was done. Modal analysis is an
analysis system where the natural frequencies of the geometry can be calculated without
applying any loads. Different mode shapes and deformation according to the mode was
calculated.
LEARNINGS:
 Overcoming the challenges in organizing various events.
 Importance of Teamwork.
 Taking the team together by managing the emotions of team members.
 Time management and importance of self-reliance.
