1.1 Introduction
Bangladesh is one of the fastest progressive countries of this world where only the Youths are
changing the lifestyles and the society. They fight with the poverty; they fight with the
unemployment problem and the nasty corruption of politicians. They are to face the poor
education system of Bangladesh, and they don’t get any extra advantages while working on
online. Although, government doesn’t take any initiative to speedier the existing slow internet
speed; these youths of Bangladesh fights with the other peoples of this world to snatch the
best jobs for them from the outsourcing marketplace. Besides, marketer and business owner
from all over the world found the whole stuffs of Outsourcing from Bangladesh is cheaper,
skillful in doing any given jobs and awesome in quality.
According to BASIS; there is more than 1 Lac Bangladeshi Freelancers are doing
Outsourcing jobs across the globe. These skilled freelancers are outsourcing their skills to the
whole world that are in need of these skills to transforming Bangladesh a new country where
no unemployment problem exists. Accumulating all of the money thatfreelancers are earning;
we know, Bangladeshi freelancers are earning about 1 crore BDT per day from various
outsourcing marketplaces.
1.2 Scope of the Study:
This report has been prepared through extensive discussion with the Square Space
Consultancy Firm Partners and the Manager. Square Space Consultancy Firm website also
helps to prepare the report .During These three months internship program in Square Space
Consultancy Firm, 18 Lais Super Market, Ambarkhana, Sylhet in the mean time I have
worked all the activities in Square Space Consultancy Firm.
1.3 Objective of the study:
This report has been prepared for the following objectives

The purpose of the Study is to gather knowledge about Outsourcing the main objective of the
study is to obtain a clear idea and reveal the true picture about the General & Promotional

To analysis the pros and cons of the Outsourcing including various products and service.
Without the specific objectives, any study cannot become the fruitful one. Before preparing
the report, I would like to set up the objective of my study as more especially the objectives
of the program are as follows:
 To fulfill partial requirement for obtaining the degree of Bachelor in Business
Administration.
 To accumulate theoretical knowledge with practical experience.
 To address and understand accounting procedures of a company by working in
practical field.
 The process and the personnel involved in the business activities of the outsourcing

 To know about the pattern of the clients who are taking the services from the Online

1.4 Methodologyof the study
The methodology of this report is very different from conventional reports. I have
emphasized on the practical observation though this report has to need some primary and
secondary data. Nevertheless, eventually almost the entire report consists of my practical
observation. While preparing the report, I have taken information from the following sources.

1.5 Limitations of the study:
A number of drawbacks appeared during preparing the report and hindered the total work
process. The report may have some incompleteness due to some of the limitation. The
limitations were-
 The data and information related with the topic was not easily available.
 I am not experienced enough to complete the study because I am a person of new
hand on such study. That is why inexperience creates obstacles to follow the systemic
approach and logical research methodology.
 Lack of personnel in the Outsourcing division of the Square Space Consultancy Firm.
So they always busy about their own work. And it is very difficult to take information
from them as they busy enough.
 Another limitation of this report is Outsourcing policy of not disclosing some data and
information for confidential reason, which could be very much useful.
 The time frame for writing this report was restricted to 3 months or a single semester.
If I was allowed more time, I would surely be able to present the information more
descriptively.

2018. Our office located is 18 Lais super market, Sunamganj road, Ambarkhana, Sylhet.
Square Space Consultancy Firm is a UK based outsourcing firm. It provides some of
important services for example, Insurance, Telephone lines, Gas-Electricity, Card machine
etc. We do provide different type of insurance such as

2.2 Organization History
Square Space Consultancy Firm is basically UK based Call Centre. We have dealing only UK
based customer. Where we fit in and provide a simple solution for all our clients.
We are here to provide some of services to our clients. As a result, we are able to saving their
time, and we provide low cost services so customer could save some amount of money. So,
we are here to help business and support them in their growth.

Bangladesh.

The routine operations are the ones which are performed regularly or routinely while non-
routine operations are jobs and tasks that are performed irregularly. In case of Square Space

4.1 Learning Objective of the Internship Program
I have performed my internship program in Square Space Consultancy Firm located 18 Lais
super market, Ambarkhana, Sylhet.
I have worked as an intern from 10/05/2018 to 18/08/2018. There is no specific department to
be mentioned, but the work is mostly equivalent to Sales Executive (SE).
The objectives of doing internship and especially at Square Space Consultancy Firm are
many, ranged from personal skill development to professional skill development. That also
includes work ethics, discipline, organizational behavior, business communication and so on.
Experiencing the real working life and environment of the work place these also played a
major role to shape the objectives. Here some objectives are mentioned which were taken
into account as the objectives of doing internship and in the respective organization.
 The first and foremost objective of doing internship is to apply business concepts and
theories to real-world decision-making those were obtained from the Bachelor
programs.
 Increasing proficiency in specific business disciplines like Marketing to learn the
practical know how of marketing activities of this respective organization.
 Developing and improving business skills in professional and interpersonal
communication in order to conduct day to day operations of an organization.
 Learning the use of regular technological equipment’s and the related software’s that
are being used in recent time in an outsourcing company.
 Improving the teamwork skills working with the existing professionals of the firm and
other fellow interns.
 Observing and participating in business operations and decision-making by finding
out the bottlenecks in the existing process and suggesting the possible and better
future approach for accomplishing any task
 Meeting professional role models and potential mentors who can provide guidance
before starting any new work and getting feedback about the success rate and other
support in case of quick decision making and other problems.

advisers or mentors including other like-minded interns.

4.4 Experiences and skills gained during the internship period
Internship experience and skills refer to the components of the internship program wherein
students obtain practical work experience through their placement at a sponsor agency
(Brandon, Collins, & Hopson, 2014). While doing internship in Square Space Consultancy
Firm, I have gained some experiences and some skills which can help me in my future career
and personal development. These are identified and presented in here.
Self-reliance skills: I have to perform various tasks by myself. It has helped me to
understand and demonstrate that I can work independently. I have got the chance to be more
self-aware by identifying and realising my strengths and weaknesses. I can organise myself,
and prioritise works for efficient time management.

 People skills: I have got the chance to demonstrate interpersonal skills. I can
communicate effectively both in writing and in person. I can communicate in
teamwork, and I can communicate using various tools. I have to communicate over
Skype, E-mail, and LinkedIn daily. Moreover, I had to communicate with customers
as well as organisations.
 Teamwork: Teamwork refers to how the people involved have been working together
to achieve task completion. In Square Space Consultancy Firm, I had to work with the
internship team to perform various tasks. For example: we divide tasks among
ourselves considering our strengths, and then finish the tasks. We also help each other
in task completion. While posting jobs in Thousand Careers, I create employer profile
while other members post jobs.
 Time management: Time management refers to techniques that enable people to get
more done in less time with better results. I needed to manage my time daily
considering my work time and my targets.
 Communication: Communication is the process of exchanging information via a
common system. There are some rules regarding workplace communication. To
communicate with superiors fast, we need to use Skype. But we needed to
communicate over email to submit our daily reports and to communicate while we are
not in the workplace.
 Career insight and industry knowledge: Being in the IT sector for 3 months, I have
now more knowledge about this industry. I have received an understanding about
careers in this industry.
 Initiative: I have developed the skill of taking initiatives. I have taken many
responsibilities myself, and I have implemented some ideas by taking initiatives
myself.
 Problem solving and Critical thinking: While doing internship, I have faced some
problems. With the help of internship colleagues, supervisors, and my knowledge, I
have solved those problems. I had to think critically to identify current options to
solve problems, and analyse alternatives to select the best course of action.
 IT and computing skills: Most of the tasks I have performed are done using
computer and information technology. Repeating those tasks, doing new tasks,
learning how to perform some new tasks, identifying different ways of performing
those tasks etc. have helped me in having more developed IT and computer skills.

4.5 Difficulties faced during the internship period
During my internship in Square Space Consultancy Firm, I encountered some difficulties
which include:
 Time constraints: The IT sector is a huge field and it requires more time to touch all
of the part of this sector. During the intern period I have only cover some of areas of
this sector. In short period it is difficult to cover all the important areas of the
business.
 Lack of expertise in specific field: This industry is vast. Various types of computer
skills are used in providing services to the clients. But I have limited knowledge
which involved me in fewer areas. This was a limitation which made my internship
difficult in terms of learning new things.
 Constraints facing while working: Doing activities in Square Space Consultancy
Firm requires the use of computer and having internet connection always. But due to
load-shedding, network problems, computer component problems, software issues
and various other relevant problems, I had to face difficulties in many times.
4.6. Thoughts about how the internship might influence my future career
plans
Though I am not specialised in this sector, but I have interest in this sector. The e-business,
management and information system, database management system, and even business
communication requires knowledge of computers and information technology. The IT sector
is an interesting one, and can be pursued by anyone even who has no IT degree. The focus is
given on the knowledge, ability, skills, and performances rather than on educational degrees.
And one can earn much money if interested in this sector and is a persuasive hard-worker. IT
salaries are generous. Perks and work/life balance are good in this sector, these are common
at tech organisations, especially the larger ones, but perhaps more important is work/life
balance. In this industry, one can be self-employed. There is no need to work under any
organisation if one can work as a freelancer.
I am interested in this industry, and this interest can motivate me to pursue career goals in this
industry. However, being successful in this industry requires much time and effort at the first.
But I am interested in working in different types of industry to expand my knowledge and
experience.

Besides the skills that have been achieved from this field can be utilized very easily in other
sectors as well because these activities are so practical that every person should have the first-
hand knowledge of these things to ensure a flawless speed of their specific industry task.
4.7. Work Samples
The following is a work sample. This was one of my first tasks where I had to use Google
Sheets (Equivalent to Microsoft Excel) to store data found from internet browsing.
Work Sample 1: Lead Generation / Information Collection
Some more work samples are provided here. In the first sample I had to collect information
of different companies situated in different places of United Kingdom. And inthe second
picture, I had to find problems of the customer and try to sort it out as soon as possible. I used
to report the findings and recommendations in a report.The work samples are presented

5.2 Recommendations
During my Internship period I have found some short comings regarding operational and
other aspect Square Space Consultancy Firm. I would like following recommendation:
 To provide more efficient and prompt service to client more monitor should be
provided to this employees.
 They should maintain Document for this company.
 Square Space Consultancy Firm should change their software sometimes it’s create
problem in working side.
 Improving the working environment area.
 When instant solutions are not possible, telling customers how the organization plans
to proceed shows that corrective action is being taken. It also sets exceptions as to the
time frame.
 When client have been disappointed, one of the biggest challenges is to restore their
confidence and preserve and the relationship for the future. This may require
perseverance and follow-through, not only to defuse their anger but also to convince
that, actions are being taken to avoid a recurrence of the problem.

5.3 Conclusion
The overall internship experience was much valuable for me. I have learned more about the
business world, especially the IT sector, with practical demonstrations. I have used my
academic learning in the organisation while performing my internship roles. Some new skills
have been added in my skills list with the previous things. This internship program has taught
me how an outsourcing company runs that was almost impossible to experience without
having a chance to go and work there. Besides the basic skills I have improved my practical
know-how about IT related things which are directly interrelated with each and every
profession at present. And using my academic knowledge and work experiences in Square
Space Consultancy Firm, I have identified some ways to improve the organisational
performance reducing lead time, communication gap and others.
So, to recapitulate I must say the internship program has improved my understanding of this
sector, and now I can contribute in this sector and the learning of this sector can help me in
my job field and future career.

Provides all documents to customer via email and Whats App. 4.4 Experiences and skills gained during the internship period Internship experience and skills refer to the components of the internship program wherein students obtain practical work experience through their placement at a sponsor agency (Brandon, Collins, & Hopson, 2014). While doing internship in Square Space Consultancy Firm, I have gained some experiences and some skills which can help me in my future career and personal development. These are identified and presented in here. Self-reliance skills: I have to perform various tasks by myself. It has helped me to understand and demonstrate that I can work independently. I have got the chance to be more self-aware by identifying and realising my strengths and weaknesses. I can organise myself, and prioritise works for efficient time management.

In Square Space Consultancy Firm, I had to work with the internship team to perform various tasks. For example: we divide tasks among ourselves considering our strengths, and then finish the tasks. We also help each other in task completion. While posting jobs in Thousand Careers, I create employer profile while other members post jobs.  Time management: Time management refers to techniques that enable people to get more done in less time with better results. I needed to manage my time daily considering my work time and my targets.  Communication: Communication is the process of exchanging information via a common system. There are some rules regarding workplace communication. To communicate with superiors fast, we need to use Skype. But we needed to communicate over email to submit our daily reports and to communicate while we are not in the workplace.  Career insight and industry knowledge: Being in the IT sector for 3 months, I have now more knowledge about this industry. I have received an understanding about careers in this industry.  Initiative: I have developed the skill of taking initiatives. I have taken many responsibilities myself, and I have implemented some ideas by taking initiatives myself.  Problem solving and Critical thinking: While doing internship, I have faced some problems. With the help of internship colleagues, supervisors, and my knowledge, I have solved those problems. I had to think critically to identify current options to solve problems, and analyse alternatives to select the best course of action.  IT and computing skills: Most of the tasks I have performed are done using computer and information technology. Repeating those tasks, doing new tasks, learning how to perform some new tasks, identifying different ways of performing those tasks etc. have helped me in having more developed IT and computer skills.

Page | 25 4.5 Difficulties faced during the internship period During my internship in Square Space Consultancy Firm, I encountered some difficulties which include:  Time constraints: The IT sector is a huge field and it requires more time to touch all of the part of this sector. During the intern period I have only cover some of areas of this sector. In short period it is difficult to cover all the important areas of the business.  Lack of expertise in specific field: This industry is vast. Various types of computer skills are used in providing services to the clients. But I have limited knowledge which involved me in fewer areas. This was a limitation which made my internship difficult in terms of learning new things.  Constraints facing while working: Doing activities in Square Space Consultancy Firm requires the use of computer and having internet connection always. But due to load-shedding, network problems, computer component problems, software issues and various other relevant problems, I had to face difficulties in many times. 4.6. Thoughts about how the internship might influence my future career plans Though I am not specialised in this sector, but I have interest in this sector. The e-business, management and information system, database management system, and even business communication requires knowledge of computers and information technology. The IT sector is an interesting one, and can be pursued by anyone even who has no IT degree. The focus is given on the knowledge, ability, skills, and performances rather than on educational degrees. And one can earn much money if interested in this sector and is a persuasive hard-worker. IT salaries are generous. Perks and work/life balance are good in this sector, these are common at tech organisations, especially the larger ones, but perhaps more important is work/life balance. In this industry, one can be self-employed. There is no need to work under any organisation if one can work as a freelancer. I am interested in this industry, and this interest can motivate me to pursue career goals in this industry. However, being successful in this industry requires much time and effort at the first. But I am interested in working in different types of industry to expand my knowledge and experience.

Work Samples The following is a work sample. This was one of my first tasks where I had to use Google Sheets (Equivalent to Microsoft Excel) to store data found from internet browsing. Besides the basic skills I have improved my practical know-how about IT related things which are directly interrelated with each and every profession at present.
