A survey of over 5,000 people found that 61% plan to celebrate the new year, while 39% do not. Of those not celebrating, 63% cited the ongoing pandemic as the primary reason. For those celebrating, half plan to do so in town, with 90% hosting or attending gatherings at home, while 10% plan to celebrate at restaurants or hotels.
