6. Machiara National Park
 Himalayan Highlands of AJ&K.
 On the right bank of the Neelum river.
 Lies 35 km away from Muzaffarabad.
 165 km from Islamabad.
 Elevation from sea level 902 in the south and 20750 in north.
 Human population 52,000 living in 30 villages around
the park boundaries.
 Unique one due to Tragopan Pheasants.

 Total Area= 13,532 hector.
Location
 Geographical location = 34 - 31N ; 73 - 37E.
 Physical location = Muzaffarabad and AJ&K.
Established
 Machiara National Park (MNP) was declared as Game Reserve in 1982.
 MNP was re-notified as National Park in 1996.

help to monitor the species of the park.
