Himalayan Highlands of AJ&K.
On the right bank of the Neelum river.
Lies 35 km away from Muzaffarabad.
165 km from Islamabad.
Elevation from sea level 902 in the south and 20750 in north.
Human population 52,000 living in 30 villages around
the park boundaries.
Unique one due to Tragopan Pheasants.

Physical location = Muzaffarabad and AJ&K.
Established
Machiara National Park (MNP) was declared as Game Reserve in 1982.
MNP was re-notified as National Park in 1996.

Conserve threaten (snow leopard, black bear)
and many other species.
Using standardized monitoring techniques build field staff of wildlife,
help to monitor the species of the park.
Set up a healthy environment.
To save the resources.
