4. AISM together with its research foundation is the largest private funding body of MS
research together with MS Societies in the USA, Canada and UK.
Other priority areas include:
1. Local and national services and support to meet the needs of people with MS
and their families;
2. A continuing education program for health professionals (i.e. CME)
3. A comprehensive information program that ensures up-to date, unbiased and
accessible information to people of MS and their families across channels.
4. Fundraising to support activities of the MS Society, through national fundraising
events, legacies, direct marketing, corporate fundraising.
5. Advocacy on all levels
6. Public awareness: to raise awareness of issues related to MS and to AISM.
