3. RULES :
1. Full pounce (+20/-15)
2. Direct questions (+10)
and Bonus (+5)
3. There are 5 rounds in total.
4. For every situation, the decision of the
quizmaster is final.
4. Pounce:
If there are 8 teams and the question is to team 1, the quiz master gives 10
seconds after the question is asked for "pouncing". All teams except team 1 are
eligible to "pounce".
A team may pounce if the question is not theirs and they don't want to wait for
the question to pass to them. They "pounce" by writing the answer on a piece
of paper and showing it to the quiz master. This makes them unable to answer
if the question is passed. Usually the pounce has negative scoring which
means that they will get a negative if they don't give the right answer.
Thus, if the question is to team 1 and teams 5 & 6 pounce, 5 & 6 write the
answers on a piece of paper. 5 got it right and 6 got it wrong. The question is
passed along and both 5 & 6 cannot answer. So if 4 passes, it goes to 7. Teams
5 & 6 get points for the pounce (positive or negative).
