Once in a while, you run into someone who convinces you that the impossible is very possible.
My wife and I have been going to Anytime Fitness, off and on, for quite some time. About two
months ago, Ryan Kalsow started me on Max Contraction Training. I’m frankly amazed at my
progress. The first time I held up 50 pounds on the sled for 30 shaky seconds. My next
achievement was 300 pounds for 20 seconds. Now, I can comfortably do 360 pounds for 10
seconds. I’ve progressed on quad extensions, shoulder press, seated row, chest press and curls
all in a similar fashion.
I should add that I’m 73 years old, and have osteoarthritis and osteoporosis. Ryan has really
made me a believer.
