String Theory brief basic description. Inspired by the book "Elegant universe".I made this ppt in a very short time, so please enjoy, and if mistakes are detected let me know.
4. Theodor Kaluza
German mathematician
Although Einstein proved that there is fabric of cosmos(world sheet) that
showed us that how gravity played an important role in universe, which
newton was unsuccessful to explain. But he only did it with the help of 3-
Dimmensions.
Theodor kaluza,a mathematician believed that what if you apply
electromagnetic force to the fabric of cosmos. This thinking made him
discover the 4th dimension. He gave the equation for the fourth
dimension to prove the electromagnetic force.
He noticed that the equation he completed was that used by the Einstein
and other physicist to find the electromagnetic force
DIMMENSIONS
5. Oskar Klein
Swedish physicist
In 1926,oskar klein told that there maybe other
dimension that are so small that they all around
us but we are not able to see
SIZE OF DIMMENSIONS
6.
7. By giving this true powerful imagination he conveyed that there might be two types of dimension, that is BIG and SMALL.
BIG ones are those that we can clearly see but there might be another dimension curled up,sort of the part of that cable
Now a question arises from our brains that does this apply to our universe?
This is where it failed…..
Many scientist tried to solve this confusing puzzle but they were unsuccessful to make a one unified theory
Until in our age, physicists like brian greene and others introduced a “SUPER STRING THEORY”
The superstring theory has nothing to do with the classic string theory and its idea of extra dimensions but it sparkles a new form
This theory answers the question-What are the basic and fundamental particles of universe?
BUT…
