Lab Experiment - 4: Working with Google Cloud
AIM: To Explore Google Cloud
THEORY:
Introduction:
Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a set of cloud computing services
supplied by Google that run on the same infrastructure as Google's
internal products, such as Google Search, Gmail, Google Drive, and
YouTube. It offers a number of modular cloud services, including
computing, data storage, data analytics, and machine learning, in
addition to a set of management tools. A credit card or bank
account number is required for registration.
App Engine, Google's first cloud computing service, was unveiled in
April 2008 as a platform for developing and hosting web
applications in Google-managed data centres. In November 2011, the
service was made widely available. Google has introduced a number
of cloud services to App Engine since it was first announced.
