5. Current Skate Park Conceptual Design
Skateboarding is a sport, an art form, a lifestyle, and a culture.
The Central Huron Community Park Committee has come up with a design
for the skate park area that has been designed by one of the best park
designers in the country. The pre-formed concrete park will become the
area’s prime hotspot for youth in motion, in-line skaters, scooters and
bikers. The unique design provides elements for all youth and bikers of all
skill levels while giving spectators the opportunity to view the activity in a
comfortable park-like setting. A new splash pad and updated playground
equipment has also been designated to be placed in similar locations to the
existing children’s wading pool/playground area.
The location of Central Huron Community Park provides tremendous
exposure for those donating to the park.
