e PG Pathshala is an revolutionary intiative of Minstry of Eduation formerly known as MHRD , being executed by University Grant Commision, started in 2015

• e- PG Pathshala is one portal under which High quality,
curriculum based , interactive content in different subjects
across all disciplines of social sciences, arts, fine arts &
humanities, natural & mathematical sciences, lignguistics
and languages.
• Are being developed by MHRD under its NME-
ICT(National Mission on Education through ICT).
• It has assigned work to the UGC for development of e-
content in more than 68 subjects at Postgraduate level.
• The content and its quality is the key component of the
system.

• Curriculum based, Interactive e-content of 22000+
modules in more than 70 subjects of various
disciplines .
• e-contents have been developed by the Subject
Experts working in Indian Universities and other
R & D institutes across the country.
• Every subject had a team of Principal Investigator,
Paper Coordinators, Content Writers, Content
reviewers, Language Editors and Multimedia team.

an Open Educational Resource (OER) or as resource
material in a Flipped Classroom model where, in
contrast to the conventional classroom teaching, the
students watch the video lecture/study material at
home and classroom is used for discussions and
critical thinking including discussion/problem solving
and assignments with the help of teachers and peers.

Who can submit proposals for e-content
development?
Any PG teacher, engaged in teaching in an institution
recognized by the UGC, for at least 10 Years in Particular
discipline.
Any educational institution in the country impacting
higher education, who agree with the aims and
objectives of the NME-ICT/UGC.
Any agency/institution / individual through invitation
of NME-ICT/UGC.

e-Adhyayan(e-books):--
• It is a platform to provide 700+ e-books
for the Post Graduate courses.
• All the e-books are derived from e-PG
Pathshala courses.
• It also facilitates the playlist of video
content.
UGC-MOOCs(Online Courses):--
•UGC-MOOCs is one of the vertical to
produce course on Post Graduate
subjects in SWAYAM (Online courses, an
MHRD initiative).
•UGC is one of the National Coordinator
of & INFLIBNET is the technical partner
for UGC-MOOCs.

• e-Pathya is one the verticals of e-PG
Pathshala which is software driven
course / content package that facilitates
students pursuing higher education (PG
level) in distance learning as well as
campus learning mode.
