with in-line cold foil. +AddBrilliance is our
brand name for this in-line UV cold foil
technology.
Having an 8-color UV sheetfed offset press
equipped with both cold foil and an anilox
coater is a unique configuration. This enables
us to add more colors and expand our offering
of coatings and opaque whites for enhanced
sheet decorating.

to hot foil.

The challenge:
Amazon.com requested a gift box containing a
$100 gift card and either a wallet or a USB
power stick.
What we did:
We developed 4-5 new designs of the gift box
and the client chose the direction. We
improved the design to become a semiautomatic
production (card read/UPC write)
which increased speed-to-market. The gift
card’s UPC code was written to the outer cover
of the gift box. This was so the card could be
activated without the need to open the box.
10,000 unique bar codes were generated and
imaged to produce this promotion.
