                               l After closing the interlock loop the amplifier will
                                 continue operation automatically
                               Three configurable group interlocks
                               l After closing the interlock loop there is an
                                  interaction needed to bring the amplifier back
                                  into operation – for maximum safety

Fast Amplifier Mute
New applications using muting/blanking

l   Fast muting of the power amplifier stages by means of external TTL signal
l   Very short delays of 4 ”s to 6 ”s only
l   Extremely low noise level during mute of -168 dBm/Hz
    (compare the thermal noise limit of -174 dBm/Hz)

l   Typical application is mono-static radar, i.e. sending and receiving
    antenna are located at the same site
l   To allow receiving of the radar echo the amplifier needs to be muted
    after sending the pulse
