Duplicator Solutions
(2004-
present)
Founder/Owner
Started with a $25,000 investment, and built a high margin duplicating equipment rental and
technology solutions business, which generates a six figure income stream.
Previously, I started and grew a local retail imaging equipment business (financed with a credit card)
and then a national imaging supplies business. They were both sold successfully. (Copier Warehouse
1988-1993, Western Duplicating 1993-2000). During these years I have consulted for several toner
manufacturers to bring underdeveloped products to market as well as specific industry consulting
regarding economic and market issues.
Hunt Imaging
(Cleveland, OH, 2000-2008)
Vice Business Development President of Marketing
I
consolidated Western Duplicating into Hunt Imaging. While working as their VP of Marketing, I
developed and expanded the company’s supplier and marketing channels internationally and
domestically. I initiated marketing efforts to expand company’s relationships with industry leaders. I
also transformed the company’s R&D internal qualification and manufacturing processes. I lead the
development of new technologies, proprietary intellectual properties, and company patents. I doubled
the size one division and led the purchase of a toner manufacturing line, which became the newest
2. developed product line for the company. I successfully negotiated manufacturing for business
interruption strategies for several leading toner manufacturers, which have become a key part of the
company’s existing manufacturing base.
Western Duplicating
(Colorado Springs, CO, 1993-2000)
Owner/CEO
Developed plastic design solutions for packaging, developed RFID work around solutions for certain
imaging supplies, and wrote and obtained the design patent for a plastic cartridge technique.
Additionally, I procured surplus steel molds for packaging from significant injection molding
companies in the U.K. and Taiwan and adapted them for use in the U.S into the products I was
targeting.
OTHER NOTABLE BUSINESS ACCOMPLISHMENTS
I negotiated the sale of two of my businesses, the purchase of a toner plant, the long-term state
contract with the State of Utah, contract manufacturing of several toner products with several major
toner companies, and the accompanying intellectual processes that helped improve the company’s
overall toner operations. Additionally, I negotiated the transfer of key knowhow and processes from
several Japanese companies to improve our U.S. competitiveness. I made key purchases of
competitor’s inventory to solidify our position in the market, while providing expert consulting for
several industry leaders in the areas of product development as well as in economic market analysis
