Greetings:
On behalf of the City of Richmond, I extend greetings and welcome the National Association of
University Women (NAUW) to our city. Congratulations on 106 years of existence! We are
delighted that you chose Richmond to host your 92nd Southeast Sectional Conference.
NAUW has remained committed to its mission of community outreach, and assisting in the
development of countries through education and women. I commend the Richmond Branch for
their continued enthusiasm towards these initiatives and for accepting the task of hosting this
year’s conference. Your time together is a shining example of what can be accomplished when
people gather around a common cause.
While you are here, I encourage you to experience our historic sites and landmarks, art galleries,
entertainment venues, and our nationally recognized dining scene. You could not have come at a
better time! With the resurgence of this city, and ethnically diverse population, I guarantee that
there is something that each of you can enjoy.
