Key Academic Projects
• B.E sem VI - Automated Essay Grading using Neural Networks
(Guide : Prof. Vincy Joseph, SFIT) [Jan ’19 - May ’19]
◦ Abstract: Grading essays on a large scale is a time consuming process. Teachers cant be expected to
grade all essays with the same effort and level of determination as the first few essays that they grade.
AEGS system outputs a single number as a grade for the submitted essay. This project illustrates the
use of LSTM units in a Deep Recurrent Neural Network to grade essays converted to number vector by
using another shallow neural network, Word2Vec used to get numeric feature vector representation for
given essay. This project has achieved r2
score of 0.918
• Project for College - MyLibApp
(Guide : Ms. Chinmayee Bhange, SFIT) [Jan ’18 - Sep ’18]
◦ Abstract A simple to use android application made using modular code written in Java which is live on
PlayStore for SFIT students and Teachers using LIRC facility of college. This application allows user to
renew books instantly, check syllabi, access all the connected drive links to digital library and e-journals.
Relevant Technical Projects
