Who: HPI Direct are a uniform and corporate apparel company.
Situation: Their client Jet Blue Airlines came forward with a list of business rules for how their employees needed to be treated online.
HPI Direct required a platform that offered the flexibility of developing unique online eCommerce stores with very specific rules for each account they manage.
Solution: B2B Program Manager enabled HPI to author rules associated with each account by adjusting the microsites to match purchasing requirements.
B2B Program Manager enabled HPI to build power of groups to organize employee shoppers into sets that match the organizational structure of each of their end-user accounts.
Management was able to create specific user views so each employee shopper sees only what they need to see for their specific job function.
Supervisors at each end-user account were able to place orders on behalf of any employees that cannot (or will not) place orders for themselves online.
B2B Program Manager integrated with HPI’s systems. So that inventory positions are displayed in real time, and that order information is routed back to shopper accounts
Who: LTL Equipment are an Industrial lighting and fixture company
Need: LTL struggled to manage custom products that were only available to specific customers.
They needed to create custom sets and user groups and that is where B2B Program Manager was brought in
They deployed a variety of special order items that various manufacturers created by demand for a number of customers, but those items were not available to all customers.
Over time many individual product sets were setup to assist customers in isolating the right set of products for specific buyers
The majority of customers required only a purchase order and credit card option for their payment options.
But many customers requested that LTL also setup account limits (allowances) for their individual buyers.
This allowed LTL’s customers’ the ability to track the purchasing activities of their own buyers, and run reports based on their own specific criteria, such as job site.
