2. From 1990…..
Left school in 1990 with GCE’s, even
though I wanted to go to college and
university, I had to go straight into
work to help support my mother and
sister.
3. I quickly gained employment in two jobs which
I worked at for over six years.
Washing out pigs intestines for a
sausage shop…
…And stacking shelves in my
local Co-Op store
4. 1996 I went to work in Italy for a friends
company as a Refractory Engineer until 2006.
The job was tough and demanding, I
could be inside the pipelines up to 11
hours a day in over 100 degree heat…..
….But I loved every moment of it (apart
from the mosquitos).
In 2006, the company ran into financial
trouble and workers were sent home for a
few months…but turned out to be
permanently…
5. 2006
Flew back to the UK for what I
assumed would be 3/4 months.
The company and my friend went
incommunicado so I found
employment with T.K.Maxx
6. The job at T.K.Maxx ended in 2009 when new
management was brought in and those already
working there lost their jobs.
7. It isn’t always easy after losing a job like that,
however a wage still needs to be earned.
From Feb 09 to July 2011, I worked at a company
called PetMeds, until the company relocated…to
Jersey.
From Jan 2012 to Feb 2014 I worked the night
shift from 6pm to 4.30am at Menzies Distribution.
8. In 2015 I am ready for a
new challenge
Looking for a new direction
within a new industry. I have the
skills, knowledge, drive to learn
new abilities.
My work history is proof that I
possess an excellent work ethic, as
well as the drive and passion that
every employer needs from an
employee.
