GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF EXPERIENCE
During a period of approximately 30 years, was the primary attorney assisting with
as many as 4 separate attorneys, including Stephen A. Coke, Charles C. Clymer, Larry
R. Boyd and C. Thomas Wesner.
Experience involved a broad range of business litigation and transactional work
commonly associated with a general practice. See Exhibit B for “Special Areas of
Experience and Exhibit C for Representative Cases”.
Extensive experience with both Lexis and Westlaw research platforms concerning
both litigation and transactional topics.
After preliminary consultation with supervising attorney and clients, independently
initiated research, strategy and drafting of pleadings, discovery, motions, briefs,
orders which were then polished by supervising attorney.
Initiated and drafted hundreds of discovery requests and responses (including
interrogatories, requests for production, requests for disclosure, requests for
examination, notices of depositions, subpoenas), in both state and federal courts.
Reviewed, analyzed and summarized hundreds of depositions.
Extensive experience in initiating research, strategy and drafting of summary
judgment motions, responses, replies, affidavits, exhibits and deposition excerpts in
hundreds of cases in both state and federal courts.
Trial preparation, docketing of deadlines, designation of trial exhibits and
deposition excerpts, preparation of findings of fact and conclusions of laws, pre-trial
submissions, trial briefs and proposed pre-trial orders.
First and/or second chair experience in trial, hearing and deposition practice in
both state and federal court.
Significant appellate experience in initiating research, strategy and drafting of
appellant/appellee’s briefs, motions and other appellate pleadings and/or filings in
