The Projects Lead
4. • Oversight of the Affinity Works project set
• Coordination of activities, resources and information
flow through project lifecycles
• Monitoring project costs and timelines
• Generating and distributing project material (e.g.
highlight reports, Gantt charts, risk registers)
• Resolution or escalation of emerging project
issues/risks
• Leadership/organisation of project related meetings
Some Key Responsibilities
5. PROJECT & TECHNICAL
• Experience with technology based
projects and/or Local Government
projects
• Experience with the Social Care sector
a benefit
• Experience with project/programme
management processes and techniques
• Formal project/programme
management qualification a benefit
• Very good general ICT skills
• Highly competent with Microsoft Office
especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Microsoft Project and/or other project
management tools highly desirable
PERSONAL
• Well organised and thorough, able to
multi-task and deal with detail and
complexity
• Strong inter-personal and written
communication skills
• Ability to work with and “manage"
senior project stakeholders within and
external to Affinity Works
• Self-disciplined & able to work
independently as well as within a team
• Happy to travel to client sites at any
location, although primarily office
(Ealing) and London based
