Fact Sheet: McDonald’s Sirloin Third Pound Burger
Starting May 11, McDonald’s will offer the Sirloin Burger as a menu item on all
McDonalds’ chains across the world as a limited-edition item. McDonald’s is excited to bring
back the Sirloin Third Pound Burger option with North American-sourced sirloin.

McDonald’s Sirloin Third Pound Burger
The Third Pound Sirloin Burger is meant to have a beefy, thick and juicy taste that will be
topped with multiple fresh ingredients. The burger will be served on wooden boards to
preserve the burger’s freshness. The sirloin is sat out for an hour to keep the meat at room
temperature in order to ensure the highest quality taste for the consumer. Not too much seasoning
needs to be added to the sirloin as the sirloin has a rich taste when cooked properly.

McDonald’s created the Sirloin Third Pound Burger to ensure a richer taste in
the burger quality. The burger will be available in three different versions which
include the bacon and cheese version, the lettuce and tomato version and the
steakhouse version which includes mushrooms, grilled onions and a creamy
peppercorn sauce.
