GAME 22
COLUMBUS STATE (17-4, 11-3) @ MONTEVALLO (7-14, 4-10)
Feb. 10 • Montevallo, Ala. • Trustmark Arena • 6:30 p.m. ET
• Columbus State University currently dominates the history of mutual
match-ups with the University of Montevallo. With the first game dating back
to the 2005-06 season, the Lady Cougars hold a 10-3 advantage (4-2 on the
road) over the Falcons, winning the last five overall.
• The Lady Cougars remain tied with Clayton State in the first position in the
PBC West (both won on Saturday). There is now a 4-way tie (CSU, CLAY, AU,
LU) in overall PBC standings. This year's conference tournament is awarded
to the PBC West top team - a decision that may not be final till the last CSU-
CLAY match-up on 02/24/16.
• Columbus State defense remains atop the PBC in points per game allowed
with 56.9, a +0.8 margin over the second-best Young Harris. Montevallo, on
the other hand, allows third-most points in the conference with 64.3/game.
Thirteen point margin fueled by a double-double
by Carrie Washington led the Lady Cougars to a
63-50 victory in Montevallo last February. It was
the 11th straight CSU victory in a 31-2 season
that ended with a PBC Tournament Title and
punched a ticket to the NCAA Tournament.

Notes:
• The Falcons have struggled last year, post-
ing a winless season in the PBC (0-19). Since
then, they have gotten on a better track, win-
ning four in conference (four times the overall
win record in 2014-15 campaign). Two of
their PBC wins came at home.
• University of Montevallo ranks second-to-
last in points per game scored (59.2/game).
Their mission will get even more difficult
against the best defense in the conference -
the Lady Cougars allow only 56.9 ppg.
• Jacquelyn Thompson shoots conference
second-best 2.3 3-pointers per game. The
overall offense, however, has been struggling,
ranking last in scoring margin (-5.0) and free-
throw percentage (56.9 percent), and sitting
in the middle in field goal percentage with
40.2 percent (-3.1 behind the best-shooting
Lander).
5. • Earned her first career start at CSU, replacing injured Mitchell vs. Georgia College
(01/09/16), putting in 13 minutes in that start
• Has seen action in every game this year so far averaging 9.6 minutes per game
• Scored career high 11 points against Fort Valley State (11/13/15), while shooting 50% from
the field
• Four-year letterwinner at Archer High School
• Helped her team to Region championship and State runner-up as a senior

• Second on the team with 66 3-pointers attempted
• Scored career high 12 points at King University (11/20/15)

• Averaged 3.3 points and 1.8 assists per game
