Compassion & love of God
1. Love & Compassion of God
God Rules from eternity (past) through time (now on earth) and to eternity (glorious eternal
future).
God is Sovereign. That means He does not have to consult with anyone about His plans and
works. What He Wills happens! He will be compassionate and merciful to whom He wants to
bestow such.
God is Love. There is no limit to His love. His love and compassion touches men on earth, as well
as those in eternity.
God is the God of the Living. This means He is the God of those on earth now, as well as those
in eternity who is "supposed" to be dead - but in reality is not. The God of Abraham, Isaac and
Jacob. He is the God of the living, not of the dead!
God wants ALL men to be saved. Again, this statement of intent and love also extends to
eternity.
Jesus is the Saviour & Redeemer. He died on the cross and resurrected victoriously to save all
men who believes in Him. This is equally true for us on earth now, as well as for those in eternity.
During the 3 days in the grave Jesus went to preach salvation to souls in prisons according
to Apostle Peter. This loving and gracious action paved the way for saving grace for others in
similar situations.
Why do we want to place the love and grace of Jesus into a neat little box of (false) religious
teaching and doctrine that satisfies our limited thinking and strict moral laws & judgements?
God cannot be restricted to activity this side of the grave only. He is so much bigger than that!
The righteousness and salvation of God supercedes the limitations of this world.
The standard remains: believe in Christ Jesus! He is and remains The Way, The Truth, and The
Life. What goes for one, goes for all - on earth as it is in heaven: Believe that Jesus is Lord and
the Saviour of the world (all worlds). No church denomination can make a claim of exclusivity of
the finished work of Jesus. He has done it all! Thus allows us to be seated together with him in
heavenly places.
I declare by faith in Jesus:
1. Breakthrough, healing & restoration to all those on the earth who waited on His promises now!
2. Breakthrough, healing & restoration to all those in eternity by the grace of God who believes in
Jesus!
