Adverts for Documentaries
• One striking but simple image so the advert catches people
attention meaning more people are likely to see it and watch
the documentary.
• Simple easy to read font so the information is clear and it is
easy for the audience to know when the programme is on.
• Simple colour scheme so it doesn’t draw attention away
from the image.
• Name of programme and scheduling information so people
know where to watch the programme if they are interested
• Slogan
• The channels logo is prominent
• Photoshop is often used to make more complex or
interesting images which wouldn’t be able to be simply
