She is liar, chameleon
Actress acclaimed
Bitch for blame
Whoreof shame
Goddess to some
And demon
Glittering high on her appointed esteem
She fits all sizes and sews her dreams
Who she is she cannotsay
She’s been so many
Worn different names
Writer, daughter, lover, wife
Witch, believer, caregiver of strife
Whore, slut, psychotic adept
Selfish little girl who takes and rants
The hand of good
The wrath of god
The karma queen
Of all gone wrong

Peek a boo snake
Stealing glimpses
Behind the hand of wisdom
Does not slither
Does not blink
Just stares and waits… for candy
No time to wait
The snakeawakes
Time for full execution
Drink it in and say hello
Not a little but fastthen slow
Take the snakeand swallow
Shoveit deep
Into fissure’s keep
Grind in understanding
Unspoken rape
Does not abate till
Snakesits winking and wilting
Fist in face
Hallow, bereft
To one so weak and innocent
Wind the snake
Choke and taste

You want to see me?
The one who’s cracked
Broken eggshells
On camel’s back
Torn and worn
Shattered, reborn
Rebuilt, yet shaken
Not breathing
Frozen in time
Like a watch out of rhyme
Looking for focus
And vision
Nothing fits yet
Still seeking content
In a world
Of vastconfusion
You want to see
See past to me
Then look in the eyes
Of betrayal
Trusts broken shadow
Born in the gallows
Bereft of hand
And gentleness
Stolen before
I knew what it was
Innocencelost
To the monster

Wounded wings
She tries to sing
Tries to fly into the heavens
She doesn’tknow why
She doesn’tknow what
But the horizon is still elusive
She reaches out
For one to claim her
Help her find strength
To hold and tame her
Give her direction when all is lost
And lift her up over tangling moss
She saves herself
Time and again
Still bereft of soulin hand
Hollow and dark, sinking in sand
Seeking fulfillment of love
And kindness
She is scared and alone
In a world full of faces
All so familiar and all so abrasive
They wanther to hide
Look at her in shame
Girl with the secrets, girlwho is named

You ask me what I want
As you turn you head away
You push against my shoulder
When I ask you please to stay
You wonder whatI’mthinking
Behind my smoky eyes
Bewildered and bereft
Of tears I cannot cry
You whisper sweetcondolences
And wipe away my fear
With words of softencouragement
Making demons disappear
You ask me why I love you
After all that you have done
But when I try to answer
You tell me that I’mwrong
I am confusion personified
I am struggling to hold on
To someone who is special
To someone that I love
I don’t know if this answers
The questions in your mind
