TAGGING PROCESS

2. BUSINESS DOMAIN
• The business domain we decided upon is Target pharmacy’s back tagging process.
• The back tags allow for prescriptions in the pharmacy to be organized, located when
needed, and kept for auditing purposes.
• The prescriptions and back tagging process is also practiced for legal purposes.
Every prescription that is filled or kept in the pharmacy must have a hard copy for
the back tag to be placed upon and filed away.
• This process is very critical and must be executed every day but with the process
that Target has implemented right now it is very time consuming, inefficient and
susceptible to human errors if not executed correctly.

• How the pharmacy organized and tracked paper prescriptions for auditing purposes
