Greetings,
The domain will be about Target Pharmacy’s back-tagging prescription process. This process
allows the pharmacy to organize and track paper prescriptions for auditing purposes, history of
paper prescription documentation, and legal purposes. Back-tagging is one of the most critical
routines in the pharmacy. However, it is very time-consuming and susceptible to human error
with the system that is implemented now. We propose to interview the pharmacy ETL
(manager), Christi Heys. We expect to use training from the current EHR system, EPS, which is
accessible from clicking the “Help” option within the system. It trains employees on using the
back-tagging process. Some assumed types of entities will be prescription, barcode, patient,
back-tag, and admission.
