Round IV: 10 Things I Hate About You
Rules:

1. Id X.
X is one of the greatest movies ever made, and also one of the most divisive among
critics. In 2003, it topped the list of "Best Endings Ever" in a poll, while simultaneously
topping the list of worst movie of all time. This is one of the best examples in
hollywood, how hype surrounding a particular movie, led to disliking of that particular
movie among a huge group of people, who want to dissociate itselves from gentry.
The British film magazine Empire reduced their rating of the film from the maximum
five stars and an enthusiastic review, to four stars with a less positive review in a later
edition. Empire eventually reinstated its original five star rating of the film,
commenting, "It should be no surprise then that
it became fashionable to bash X at approximately the same time it became clear that
this was the planet's favourite film. Ever. Them's the facts."

2. Id X.
Joan Jett and Cherrie Curry were the founding members of The Runaways. The
Runaways was an all-female band, spawning couple of hits, Cherry Bomb, Queens of
Noise. Though they never became a major success in USA, they became a sensation
in Japan. The band soon split up, Joan Jett later went to found another band Joan Jett
& the Blackhearts, and produced many hits.
A movie was based on The Runaways with X playing Joan Jett. Even though X's
portrayal of Joan Jett was received positively, career of X was marred heavily by her
association with a hugely popular franchise. X's acting in that franchise was panned
by critics universally. It took a lot of effort for X to shed her image(or did she?). X was
awarded Razzies award for reedeming herself by playing another character in a 2014
movie.

3. Give me the interpretation, which is being talked about.
X is one of the most loved and followed movie franchise ever. There is one
interpretation, which usually takes the blame away from all mediocre alterations of X,
as it usually tops the list with it's no-sense variation on the original story. Some of the
reviews are:
"Size vanquishes both substance and subtlety in the overhyped, half-cocked
and humorless resurrection of dear old X. It might well be titled Iguana Get You
Sucka."
"Throughout X, New York endures the most sustained rainfall in all of movie
history. Most of the action takes place at night, but even the daytime scenes unfold
under darkly overcast skies, which, of course, makes it all the easier for Y to obscure
X's features for the maximum amount of time to generate the maximum amount of
suspense."

X is one of the most successful porn(read disaster porn) director ever. His movies are
an epitome of box office glory. His movies are destined to success, promting one
reviewer to say:
Are there any ideas here? Other than to make more than $1.5bn, what is the
point of a X movie?
X doesn't seem to care about critics, and his classic "haters gonna hate" attitude
always add to that. He said about critics, that:
[Naysayers] love to hate, and I don’t care; let them hate. They’re still going to
see the movie! I think it’s good to get a little tension. Very good.
Even X's crew(not everyone) hate him, one of his regular(recent) collaborator,Y
compared him to hitler. X didn't cared about this comparison, but producer,Z of the film
got Y fired from his project, prompting
X to hire Y on one of his other projects, on which Z was not the producer(obviously).

Video of song X by Y(artist) was inspired by 90s movie Z. Z was the
debut film of Alicia Silverstone. The video opens with Y in her wardrobe
finding the perfect outfit for a speech at school, using a tablet computer,
similar to the protagonist of Z Cher Horowitz. Later, the video renacts

Z, such as Y taking a girl under her wing to groom her for popularity.

In words of George Lucas, himself: It is said that certain creatures are
born with a higher awareness of the Force than humans. Their brains
are different; they have more X in their cells.
Origin of X was supposedly inspired from mitochondria. X have had
some negative reception among fans; some see them as adding hard
science to the alleged "mysteriousness" or spirituality of the Force and
dislike what they see as a new concept. Anakin Skywalker is
considered to be conceived by X.

X is one(?) of the despised superheroes in Marvel Universe. Neither the character is
properly development nor proper explanations is provided for his superpowers.
Some think that X was designed just to prove that there is someone in Marvel
Universe, who can stand upto Superman on power scale or can stop Superman from
defeating all Marvel Superheroes single-handedly.
X is a poor imitation of Superman, in Marvel style, take a great character, mess up his
personal life and add mental unstability. Eureka!, you get a marvel character.
Even his tagline, “power of million exploding suns” is a jab on Superman's power
source and his emblem is a poor kryptonian's shield.

Round VI: Storytelling using Songs

1.
Song tells the story of a man who time travels into the future, and sees
the apocalypse. In the process of returning to the present, he is turned
into steel by a magnetic field.
He is rendered mute, unable verbally to warn people of his time in the
future and of the impending destruction. His attempts to communicate
are ignored and mocked. This causes him to become angry, and drives
his revenge on mankind, causing the destruction seen in his vision.

2.
Narrator was very tired of his relationship, as he was in it for a very long
period of time. So, narrator wanted to venture beyond his marriage,
after seeing an ad in the newspaper put by a woman to approach her, if
the suitor matches given criteria.
Narrator began communicating with the woman. They later decided to
meet each other in a bar called O'Malley's. When narrator meets the
woman, he recognizes that woman is his wife.
He later learns/accepts, the fact he shares similar interests with his
wife, that's the reason they got together for the first time and given a
second chance, he again chooses his wife.

3.
The song is a salute to high school football and focuses on a junior varsity football
player (who rarely, if ever sees action in varsity games) and his father, a blind man
who sits next to the press box – where the speaker is located. The father longs to hear
his son's name be announced.
Later scene shifts to the final night of the regular season and the regular fans puzzled
at why the boy's father didn't show up for the game. At halftime, with several players
injured, the boy takes an emergency phone call and is late to the field. The coach,
unaware of what's going on, begins to scold the boy but the boy insists that he's going
in on the next play. He does, takes the pitch on the first play and immediately runs for
a touchdown.
Post-match the boy becomes emotional and – when asked to explain why he played
so well – reveals that his father had died earlier in the evening (why he wasn't at the
game), thus presumably can see him play.

Robert's just about to start shooting. He is hanging around with a shifty
look and a revolver and no one suspects a thing.
He's probably going to shoot everyone, but still tells everyone to run, as
he is playing with them.
Later, he is waiting for his dad to come after a long day at work, maybe
his dad father is bringing home surprises. Dinner is all cold, since he is
waiting for a long time.

5.
Narrator begins describing a street from the times he grew up and
describe the odd people, who lived/worked there.

Who ?
The character X was introduced on September 11, 1992, in Batman: The
Animated Series and later adapted into a children's comic book called Batman
Almost Got 'Im on April 1993. X later appeared in DC Comics' Batman comic
books, first appearing in The Batman Adventures #12 (September 1993).
This was the first instance when a character introduced in a show was so well
received, it got ported to the parent comics.

One of the world's oldest songs isn't about love, sex, money or power.
It's about death.
Classical composers who have utilized it in their music are: Paganini, Berlioz,
Mozart, Liszt, Respeghi, Britten, Saint-Saenz, Tchaikovsky, and Rachmaninov.

Clear Enough ?
Ligne claire (French for "clear line") is a style of drawing pioneered by X. It uses
clear strong lines of uniform importance. Artists working in it do not use
hatching, while contrast is downplayed as well. Cast shadows are often
illuminated while a uniformity of line is used throughout, paying equal attention
to every element depicted. Additionally, the style often features strong colours
and a combination of cartoonish characters against a realistic background. All
these elements together can result in giving strips drawn this way a flat aspect.

Why is this screen a

In 1994, Titan Sports had entered into an agreement with the X, regarding
Titan's use of the "X" acronym, which both organizations had been using since
at least March 1979.
In 2000, X sued Y in the United Kingdom, alleging various violations of the 1994
agreement.The Court of Appeal agreed that the promotion company had
violated the 1994 agreement, particularly in regards to merchandising. On May
5, 2002, the company launched its "Get The F Out" marketing campaign and
changed all references on its website from "X" to "Y", also switching the URL.

"Dies Irae" (Day of Wrath) is a Latin hymn attributed to either Thomas of
Celano of the Franciscan Order (1200 – c. 1265) or to Latino Malabranca
Orsini (1294), lector at the Dominican studium at Santa Sabina, the
forerunner of the Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas, Angelicum
in Rome. The hymn dates from at least the thirteenth century, though it is
possible that it is much older, with some sources ascribing its origin to St.
Gregory the Great (d. 604), St. Bernard of Clairvaux (1090-1153), or St.
Bonaventure (1221-1274).

Round VIII: I'm Not that Guy

1.
Kramer gives away his real life adventures to J. Peterman allowing
Peterman to publish them into his autobiography. Despite the fact that
the deal between both of them went down the gutter, Elaine, who was
ghost-writing that book included Kramer's real life adventures into
Peterman's autobiography.
This prompted Kramer to launch a bus-tour titled Real J. Peterman,
which visited sites, claimed to be in J. Peterman's book, but were actually
related to Kramer's life incidents.
This story was inspired by a character in Seinfeld, identify that character.

2. Id X.
Kurt Russell is one of the most prolific stars of the hollywood. Initially
his career was linked with John Carpenter, he was involved in every
other Carpenter's project for a period of time. Carpenter was known for
making low-budget horror/thriller films, such as The Thing, Showdown
in Little China and others.
Despite Kurt Russell played more or less some character in all of his
movies, despite that, his eye-patch clad, badass resuce operation
specialist X became a pop culture icon at that period inspiring a
generation of characters to come.

Samuel L. Jackson is one of the actors in hollywood, who plays same
character in all of his movies. His typecasting is associated with one of
his earlier roles, who had penchant for monologues and beat white
guys as a living. He is credited with beating Batman before he was
batman. This character have spawned a comic series, and is one of the
most popular african-american character.

Will Ferell's formula for success on SNL was to stay for a decent period
of time on the show, make friends, be funny while on SNL and become
more funny after leaving SNL.
Chevy Chase's formula was completely opposite to that of Will Ferrell's.
On every other project, which takes he became the most hated among
the cast, lost his humor after leaving SNL(still, funnier than many).
It is said that Chevy Chase is always hired to play X, Chevy Chase
most important role on SNL was as X.

Matthew Broderick was one of the members of the famed Brat Pack.
His career though short, produced some good performances. Instead of
the fact, that he brought some decent characters to life on screen, he is
always attached with a character X.
X is a regular guy, who decides to take a day off in his life to have fun.
He miss out his school, sings in a parade, drives a ferrari or better
crash a ferrari. This character inspired many sketches and characters in
film or tv industry.

Terri Hatcher won a Golden Globe for the portrayal of Susan Mayer on
Desperate Housewives, despite remaining successful in later part of her
career, she is still remembered more famously for portraying X in Y(TV
Show).
At the height of the Y's popularity in 1995, a picture of Hatcher was
reportedly the most downloaded image on the Internet averaging
20,000 downloads each month for a six-month period. "It's a great
shot," she told Entertainment Weekly. "Not so much because it's me. It's
just cool looking."
Casting Trivia: The role of X's mother is given to person, who have
already played the role of X, in any other iteration and in most cases,

•Though a lesser known fact is that Marvel gave X(a huge DC
character) an honorary membership in Marvel Universe. By honorary
membership, I mean that X is present in Marvel Universe, but doesn't
take part in major storylines. Portrayal of X in Marvel Universe is along
the same line as his representation in DCU.

and both of them are openly gay. Their major hits are Alligator, Walking with a
Ghost, Goodbye! Goodbye!
•Both Lonely Island and Tegan & Sara collaborated for the song X, which is
very different from their usual projects.

In an interview Patterson said that, he wrote the song as a sarcasm regarding
