BUCO SOCCER MINI LEAGUE (BSML) GOVERNING POLICY
1 About Buco Soccer Mini League (BSML)
The Buco Soccer Mini League (BSML) is the trading name derived from Buco
Hardware Honeydew. The Buco Soccer Mini League (BSML) was established in 2015.
The league consist of four teams from different departments, Showroom, Yard 1, Yard
2, and Yard 3. The league will feature 12 fixtures which are going to be contested
amongst the teams. At the end of the league the winning team will be crowned
champions and get a winners reward for all their efforts throughout the campaign. The
champions will get a winner’s trophy that is going to be rotational. Any team/s that
finishes the league campaign as champions will keep the trophy for a period that is
equivalent to the league programme. In simple words, the trophy does not belong to a
team/s on a permanent basis but it will be shared amongst all teams that are crowned
champions at the end of the league programme.
2 Objectives of the Buco Soccer Mini league (BSML)
The objective of the Buco Soccer Mini League (BSML) is to foster friendly relations
amongst the four teams (Showroom, Yard1, Yard 2, and Yard 3), players of the league,
employees, as well as to promote a spirit of humanity in the workplace. To promote a
health awareness programme amongst employees by encouraging not only the
players and members of the respective teams but all employees who wish to be part
of the programme. The health awareness programme will contribute positively to
improved staff productivity, to promote a friendly and a happy working environment,
and these will result in a healthy workforce and less absenteeism.
Health promotion in the workplace benefits not only the company, but the employee
as well. Additionally, there is a distinct effect as the benefits are transferred from
employee to family members. Health promotion in the workplace creates conditions
that support and teach the best possible health for the employee. This gives
employees a sense of ownership and they learn to work together to form a coordinated
action to improve well-being.
To promote, organise and administer all soccer related matters in the workplace. The
main theme of the Buco Soccer Mini League (BSML) is to incorporate soccer as a
sporting code and promoting the health and well-being of employees. To control,
promote, channel and facilitate the development of soccer in the workplace
irrespective of race, colour, religion and politics. To promote the interests of the
players, teams, and all employees.

In simple words it means the other team for whatever reason could not play

3.6Signings and registration of players
The executive committee of the Buco Soccer Mini League (BSML) has
acknowledged the important roles played by the agencies (Imperial, APR
Security, and Export) in contributing to the continuous success enjoyed by
Buco Hardware Honeydew. In that manner, the executive committee has
decided to open doors and welcome players who are serving the above
mentioned brands to be part of the league programme. However there are
a number of factors that we took into consideration, for e.g how many
players are eligible to sign for a team/s and why is that so? Why are we
putting measures in place in terms of controlling the signings and
registration of players from those respective brands?
THE RULES ARE AS FOLLOWS
- All the team/s are eligible to sign a maximum of four (4) players.
- All teams having a wish to sign and register a player/s must introduce
the player/s in a committee meeting. Furthermore, provided there are
team/s which wishes to sign player/s and that there is no scheduled
executive committee meeting for that period, team representatives
should inform the chairperson about the matter who must explain all the
details to each member of the executive committee.
- All other queries concerning registration and signings of player/s from
our agencies should be directed to the chairperson whom will if
necessary hand it to the committee’s attention

out the game.
Three (3) consecutive yellow cards for the same number of games
consecutively will result in a single game suspension, and the player/s in
question will seat out that particular game.
The executive committee acknowledges the fact that all teams have or will
put their own measures or policies in place on how to control and discipline
their player/s. However, should the team/s bring the matter concerning the
suspension of their player/s internally to the committee’s attention, the
committee will study the suspension in question and make
recommendations. Moreover the executive committee reserves all rights to
overrule any suspensions that are brought forward to its knowledge by the
team/s wishing to suspend its player/s internally. If necessary the committee
may impose its own suspension and not those brought forward by the
team/s.
The executive committee will not tolerate unsporting behaviour in a form of
