The 13th NuGOweek conference will take place from September 5-8, 2016 at the University of Copenhagen in Denmark. The conference will focus on the interplay between genes, lifestyle factors, and the gut environment in relation to phenotypes and disease prevention. The deadline for abstract submissions is June 28, 2016. The opening session will feature talks on integrating genes and phenotypes in disease prediction, the impact of early childhood nutrition on later health outcomes, and understanding the J-shaped response between alcohol consumption and disease prevention. Parallel hands-on software sessions and talks on topics like the microbiota-host interplay and role of exercise in prevention will also be included.
