3. POLLUTION
A Chemical Or Biological Substance That Harms Environments
All Living Things From One Celled Microbes To Blue Whales Depend On Earth’s Supply
Of Air & Water.
4. Concept Of Pollution
Pollution can be natural such as volcanic ash.
Can also be created by human activities such as trash or runoff
produced by factories.
Pollution damage the air, water, and land quality.
Many things that useful to humans that produce pollution.
Car spew pollutant from their exhaust pipes.
Burning of coal to create electricity pollutes the air.
Industries and homes generate garbage and sewage that can pollute land
and water etc.
5.
6. Pollution is a global problem although urban areas more polluted than country sides.
Air and water currents carry pollution.
Pesticide/chemical poison use to kill pest or unwanted living things seeps into water ways but its harm
wildlife.
Wind can pick up radioactive material that release from nuclear vector and scatter it around the world.
smoke from a factory one country drift into another country.
coal burning power plant in Texas has spewed so much pollution into air.
There are four major types of pollution such as: air pollution, water pollution, land pollution, and also noise
pollution.
7. AIR POLLUTION
Most air pollution in not natural, it comes from burning fossil, fuels, coal,
oil and natural gases.
Cars and factories produce other common pollutants like nitrogen oxide,
sulfur dioxide, & hydrocarbon.
air pollution like nitrogen oxide and sulfur dioxide mix with moisture
they change into acids than fall back to acid rain.
Acid rain can destroy all trees, lakes and others.
In Sweden acid rain created thousands of dead lakes where fish no longer
live.
8. WATER POLLUTION
Polluted water looks muddy, smelly beds, and has garbage floating in it.
Some polluted water looks clean, but filled with harmful chemicals, you
cant see or smell.
Polluted water unsafe for drinking water & swimming.
United nation estimates that 4000 children die everyday from drinking
dirty water.
Some polluted water harms indirectly, they get sick because fish lives in
polluted water that unsafe.
Chemicals and oils from factories dumped or seep into water ways,
which create toxic environment for aquatic life.
Also create a fertile environment (blue-green algae).
More than 2 million animals died as result of dirty water.
Many cities have poor sewage systems &sewage plant treatments.
A major source of water pollution is fertilizer used in agriculture.
9. LAND POLLUTION
Earth’s surface made up of 29% of land.
Deforestation, urbanization and agriculture are the main reasons for
land pollution.
Land pollution effects human beings, plant as well as animals.
Harmful agricultural practices like crop burning cause land pollution.
Trash is another form of pollution around worlds like papers, cans,
glass jars, plastic products and junked cars etc.
Animals can die if they mistakenly eat plastics.
10. NOISE POLLUTION
Noise pollution affects health and behavior of humans as well as animals
both, it damages psychological health of both.
Sound becomes undesirable when it disturbs normal activities such as
working, sleeping, and during conversations.
In cities sound of buses, cars, trucks, and other vehicles, start producing
sound especially during traffic jams, it mentally and physically disturbs
the peoples on roads.
Those peoples who admitted in hospitals suffer from serious brain related
problems due to noise.
Noise pollution can cause temporary or permanent damages to our ears.
