What is Computer Network?
A computer network is a set of devices connected through links. A node can be computer, printer, or any other device capable of sending or receiving the data. The links connecting the nodes are known as communication channels.
Computer Network uses distributed processing in which task is divided among several computers. Instead, a single computer handles an entire task, each separate computer handles a subset.
Following are the advantages of Distributed processing:
Security: It provides limited interaction that a user can have with the entire system. For example, a bank allows the users to access their own accounts through an ATM without allowing them to access the bank's entire database.
Faster problem solving: Multiple computers can solve the problem faster than a single machine working alone.
Security through redundancy: Multiple computers running the same program at the same time can provide the security through redundancy. For example, if four computers run the same program and any computer has a hardware error, then other computers can override it.

1. Describe an incident in which you have used Time Management and Flexibility skills.
The more organized we are, the more effectively we will be able to use the 24 hours in a
day. Ideally, every morning, one should make a list of everything they want or need
to get things done that day.
It is better to do this at night before going to bed. At that point of time, they should not
think about which tasks are most important. They just have to write them all down.
Once they get in the habit of doing their work efficiently, they might want to organize
themselves for a few days in advance, to help plan longer projects. The next step is to
priorities the tasks on the list.
They must assign "A" to those things that HAVE TO BE DONE. Then assign "B" to those
tasks which SHOULD BE DONE and Assign a "C" to those chores that can be DEFERRED
until the next day. This should be continued until they have prioritized the entire list
of tasks.
Now that a prioritised list of everything is created, they need to make a schedule
for completing these tasks. They should allocate the time for each task and try to
finish it within the allotted time.
While creating the schedule, they should make sure that it is flexible. There should be
time for breaks, socialising and other little things that can come up in day-to-day
activities.
Allow space for unexpected things, and don't try to plan out every minute of the day.
While scheduling, keep personal needs and habits in mind. Be realistic and make a
schedule that can be followed practically.
By following the three simple steps, i.e., Organising, Prioritising and Scheduling, I
can use their time effectively and productively.

3. Select any 5 leaders of your choice from any field. write the qualities of all 5 leaders which
make them the best leader.
1. Lala Lajpat Rai
๏Lala Lajpat Rai immensely contributed in attaining independence the nation. He
helped in establishing few schools in the country. He also initiated the foundation of Punjab
National Bank. In 1897, he founded the Hindu Orphan Relief Movement to keep the
Christian missions from securing custody of these children.
๏Lala Lajpat Rai was a voracious reader and everything he read lek a great imprint on his
mind. He was deeply impressed by the ideals of patriotism and nationalism outlined by
Italian revolutionary leader Giuseppe Mazzini.
๏Lajpat Rai gave-up his legal practice and put all his efforts towards freeing his
Motherland from the shackles of the British Imperialism.
๏He recognized the need for presenting the state of affairs in the Indian Freedom
struggle to prominent countries in the world in order to highlight the atrocious nature of
the British rule in India.
2. Bhagat Singh:
๏Bhagat Singh was among the prominent revolutionaries who shaped the base of a
Grand National movement. Following his execution, on March 23, 1931, the supporters
and followers of Bhagat Singh regarded him as a "Shaheed", "martyr".
๏Bhagat Singh, his intense patriotism coupled with cultivated idealism, made him an ideal
icon for the youth of his generation. Through his written and vocal admonition of the
British Imperial Government, he became the voice of his generation.
๏From a very young age patriotism had taken its seed in Bhagat Singh's conscience.
๏He grew up to appreciate nationalism and crave a British-free independent India.

๏His vehement departure from the Gandhian non-violent route to Swaraj has often
been criticized by many, yet through the fearless embracing of martyrdom he inspired
hundreds of teens and youths to join the freedom struggle wholeheartedly.
3. Indira Gandhi
๏Indira Gandhi was exposed to politics from a young age. A leader like Mahatma
Gandhi was among the frequent visitors to the Nehru house in Allahabad.
๏After his return to the country, Indira showed keen interest in the national movement.
Indira Gandhi's political image was tarnished heavily.
๏ India's triumph in the war of 1971 against Pakistan enhanced the popularity of Indira
Gandhi as a shrewd political leader.
๏During the state of emergency, her younger son, Sanjay Gandhi, began to run the
country with full-authority and ordered forceful removal of slum dwellings.
๏and started a highly unpopular forced sterilization program, which was aimed at
curbing India's growing population.
4. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel
๏ Patel was the first Deputy Prime Minister and the first Home Minister of Independent
India. British had given two choices to the Indian Princely states - they could either
join India or Pakistan, or stay independent.
๏ This created a lot of uncertainty. As the home minister, Patel had a herculean task to
convince the princely states to join India.
๏ With his tactful negotiation, he succeeded in integrating over 560 states to the Indian Union.
There were a few states like Junagadh, Jammu & Kashmir, and Hyderabad, which did not
acquiesce/comply. Without these states joining the Indian Union, the country would've been
disjointed.

๏Patel used force to deal with them. Because of his ehorts, today India stands as an integrated
nation. Patel was the driving force behind creating the All-India Services, which he
knew would be essential for providing a firm infrastructure to the new nation.
๏ He was also an important part of the Constituent Assembly of India. The Somnath
Temple in Saurashtra was restored under his supervision.
5. Jawaharlal Nehru
๏ Nehru was also impressed with the economic system of the communist Soviet Union
and wished to apply the same in his own country. In 1927, he became a member of the
League against Imperialism created in Brussels, the capital city of Belgium.
๏ Nehru fought hard against the proposed partitioning of the country by the last Viceroy
Lord Mountbatten. He failed to obtain enough support from Mohammed Jinnah, the
leader of Muslim League and reluctantly gave in to it.
๏ Nehru was elected as the first Prime Minister of independent India. He was the
first PM to hoist the national flag and make his iconic speech "Tryst with
Destiny" from the ramparts of the Lal Quila (Red Fort).
๏ The time had come to implement his ideas and build a healthy nation. Nehru's stint as
PM of India is characterized by is secular and liberalist approach. He carried out his vision
to carry the young India towards the road of technological and scientific excellence with
great zeal.
๏ As a great believer in pluralism, socialism and democracy, Nehru developed India as a
secular nation true to its thousand years old cultural heritage.
