The low caste people must
have done some „sins‟ to be
placed as an “untouchable.
“ we will get polluted by the
„untouchables‟”
“they will get polluted by us”
So many different names for the
untouchables:
Dalits, Harijans, Chamars.

They do all the dirty jobs
the “untouchables” are not allowed to go to
certain parts of the villages/cities
