questions and requirements. There are 3 master R&D labs in France, Belgium,

to turn every customized project into a long term relationship.
Invest for the long term = upstream R&D
Through long term research programs with external universities
or research centres, Solina looks ahead for the ‘ideas and food
products’ of the day after tomorrow.
Meatic program is a major R&D initiative in France and
various Flanders Food (Nitrilow, Psychrolab, …) projects
are held in Belgium (Gent) in cooperation with the Uni-
versity of Gent, Leuven and Brussels. Bilateral coopera-
tion with the University of Leuven. Tetra-IWT projects
with University Gent.

We currently have operations in West-Europe, Eastern Europe, Middle-East
and Asia resulting in sales in more than 75 different countries. Our current
turnover reaches 255 million Euros per year
Over 18,000 customers
For now 18,000 customers all over the world are being serviced by Solina
Group, yet we are still able to be a local partner with a high level of

About 800 people within the Solina Group take care of our customers. They

The concept of sustainable development characterizes SOLINA who wishes to work in the long run by giving equal importance to human priorities
as well as economic priorities. Our concrete and unifying commitments:
Pro active employees – SOL’N School•	 :
To support and enhance its development, in 2013 Solina set up SOL’N School
to enable and strengthen the skills of all employees. Two training programs
have been created; the first one to make project management more fluid
in the Group and a second one to enhance management skills and encour-
age efficiency within the group.

Investment in research•	 :
Solina’s expertise and ability to innovate are combined in the development of
solutions that respect the environment: --> Research project Meatic for the
development of clean label solutions in meat products

In Belgium special programs are started to minimize waste stream in collabora-
tion with OVAM ( Belgian authorities )

The Gene Therapy Foundation:•	
Solina is really proud of their support to the Gene Therapy Foundation
which it has supported for the last 9 years in Research for treatment
of rare diseases. Recent results are fabulous and are encouraging to
pursue our financing commitment for the next 5 years.
