1. Dr Themistoklis Haniotakis received the B.S. degree in physics in 1991 and the Ph.D. degree in computer science in 1997 all from the University of Athens, Greece. His Ph.D. thesis is in the area of self checking circuits.From 1991 to 1995 he was with the National Centre of ScientificResearch (NCSR) “Demokritos” in Athens Greece. During 1998–1999 hewas a senior engineer in the Integrated Systems DevelopmentS.A.
He was a Visiting Assistant Professor in the department of Computer Engineering & Informatics at the University of Patras and currently he is an Associate Professor in the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Southern Illinois University, Carbondale USA.
His interests include, VLSI design, fault-tolerant computing, VLSI testing and Design for Testability.
Dr. Haniotakis is the main author or co-author of more than forty papers in scientific periodicals and conferences as well as in one filed patent. He received the best paper award of the 2002 International Symposium on Quality Electronic Design. He is member of the program committee of the IEEE International On-Line Testing Symposium.
