Rafael Maciel dos Santos has graduated from a 140-hour TEFL course that covered learning styles, classroom management, lesson planning, phonetics, and grammar. To pass, students had to pass 10 unit tests and submit 10 lesson plans covering different skills and levels. The course culminated in a 3-hour comprehensive exam. Rafael Maciel has recently graduated from our 140 hour TEFL course. Our Star-Tefl 140 hour
TEFL course covers a comprehensive syllabus that includes: learning and teaching styles,
classroom management, lesson planning, phonetics, and of course grammar. To successfully
pass the course, each student must pass 10 unit tests and submit 10 projects that cover examples
of lesson plans for skills, grammar, one-to-one, functional and young learners. The course
culminates in a comprehensive 3 hour exam that covers the entire content of the course.
Of course, I doubt there is a course available that produces complete teachers. Having said that,
Rafael Maciel has illustrated many of the qualities required to become an asset to your teaching
team. As a student, Rafael Maciel was hard-working and conscientious. I was very impressed by
the standard of Rafael Maciel's lesson plans and attention to detail. My experience has only been
positive, Rafael Maciel has shown many qualities of a fine TEFL teacher and I believe, with a
little support and guidance, Rafael Maciel will develop into an excellent teacher.
