RE/MAXLEADING EDGE WAKEFIELD HOUSING REPORT SEPTEMBER 2013 More Homes For Sale? Buyers were hoping for more homes to come on the market after Labor Day and even though we saw an increase, the turn key homes priced right, sold in a weekend. In Wakefield, we’re seeing a 14% increase in the number of homes for sale. Open House Traffic First-time open house traffic is dramatically down from this Spring. Instead of seeing 40-50 people at the first two open houses, we’re seeing 10-15. Bidding Wars Bidding wars are still happening with homes that are priced correctly. Instead of seeing 10-15 offers, we’re seeing 2-3. # OF HOUSES 4 SALE SEPT AUG +14%CHANGE IN # OF HOUSES FOR SALE MLS Data: Aug - 7/13/13-8/10/13, Sept - 8/11/13 - 9/11/13 More Homes for Sale Finally??
