3. Research Experience
Apr 2016–
Present
Research project in the Structural Bioinformatics Laboratory (SBI) of Dr Baldo
Oliva: The project consists in using protein-protein interaction networks in order to
find interaction profiles of drugs and apply them to predict drug-drug interactions,
drug combinations or adverse effects. The networks are built using the program
BIANA, and the profiles are obtained using the program GUILD, both from SBI
laboratory. The work is supported by the grant "BIO2014 - 57518" from the Spanish
Ministry of Economy awarded to the laboratory. More information: sbi.imim.es
Feb 2015 –
Jul 2015
Research project on Pathogenesis and prophylaxis of Asfavirus infections in
the laboratory of Dr Fernando Rodríguez: The goal of the research was the
development of an effective vaccine, DIVA if possible, against the African Swine
Fever Virus (ASFV). My work done was mainly the cloning of different ASFV genes
and the evaluation of their antigenicity and essentiality in the infection progress
