http://www.ncat.myplan.com/ to do the Career Assessment Tests
(2) Once you use the access code from Aggie Link you will have access to all the
Career Assessment tests. Do not pay for any of the tests, the access code takes
care of payment since A&T Career Services already paid for our campus.

you can return to them as you complete this assignment.
a. Career Personality Test: The purpose of this test is to determine your
personality based 16 potential personalities. I received INFP which is
introverted, intuitive, feeler and perceiver. Basically that sums up to me
being very compassionate and thinking with my emotions rather than
reality and I also think of a bigger picture. I tend to be more creative and
3. 3
have a broader imagination than most but at the same time I still enjoy my
privacy and having some quality “me time.” (Perfect description of me.)
b. Career Interest Inventory: This test is basically describing who you are
and what work place your personality goes well with. Out of the 6 different
clusters I received artistic and social. This assessment states that I am
very artistic, my life practically evolves around creativity, emotion, art,
beauty and aesthetics. It says that I am not necessarily a “social butterfly”
but I am compassionate and caring and I do want to help others, just not
all at once. I feel as if it was spot on about being artistic. I love art and
fashion, I feel as if it defines me.
c. Career Skills Profiler: This test helps you construct a certain career path
basing it upon different skills. This looks as if I lack a lot of technical skills.
I can vouch for that.
d. Career Values Assessment: This test aims to see if your everyday
“values” pair up with what you’re interested in pursuing in the future. I
scored high in “achievement” and I scored the lowest in “independence”
out of all five different clusters. It is basically saying that I am looking for a
job that is best for me to use my abilities and since I lack independence I
do not seem to want a job that’ll let me branch out and I am less creative. I
agree with scoring high in achievement but as you have probably learned I
love being creative, it is literally me.
For each test (a-d) give a brief explanation of what the purpose of the test is and your
results. For each test address how accurate you think the assessment is.
