2. Georgia is a country located in the Caucasus, at the intersection of Eastern
Europe and Western Asia. It is bounded to the west by the Black Sea, to the
north and east by Russia, to the south by Turkey and Armenia, and to the
southeast by Azerbaijan. It covers 69,700 square kilometres, and has a
population of 3.7 million excluding the occupied territories. Georgia is a
representative democracy governed as a unitary parliamentary republic.
Tbilisi is the capital and largest city, home to roughly a quarter of the
population.

Georgia is an ancient Christian state. In 326, St. Nino
introduced Christianity. There are ancient monasteries
and temples in Georgia. But also in Georgia you will
meet people of different religions, but they respect
each other.

Lots of minerals are
extracted from the soil.
Both water and air are healing in Georgia. The land is fertile and rich.

three stages of development: Nuskhuri, Nuskha-Khutsuri and
Mkhedruli. One of the 14 scripts in the world is the Georgian

ancient towers and also in the dendrological park you will find rare
species of animals.

was a part of Georgia, which was taken away from
us by Russia! Abkhazia is a great pain for every
Georgian!
